Currently serving as Acting Director General, National Industrial Training Authority (NITA). He has held the position of Director, Industrial Training (NITA) transiting from Deputy Director in charge of TVET programs and as a Senior Assistant Director in charge of Industrial and Applied Sciences at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) for 6 years. He has been a fulltime Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Maseno University and a Tutorial fellow at University of Botswana. He currently holds Master of Engineering Science (Comp. Eng.) from Queensland University of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering Technology (E/E) from USQ, Australia.
He is a Member-Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (MIEEE) and a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering Technologists (IET-Kenya). He previously coordinated Component one of KYEOP that dealt with enhancing employability of the beneficiary youths through modified apprenticeship training and certification. His focus is on providing leadership in transforming beneficiaries towards decent and future of work through the Recognition of Prior Learning concept within the gig-skilling model. He was instrumental in the reforms and development of training programs for the TVET sector, National Police Service, Kenya Prisons Service, College of Insurance, Kenya Supply Chain Management, KASNEB and IEBC among other Competency Based Training Initiatives.
