PREAMBLE
The goal of the virtual workshop is to bring together key stakeholders to validate the draft standards of assessing national qualifications in Kenya. The virtual workshop will be conducted on Friday 12 th June 2020 from 9.30am and will be chaired by the Director General, KNQA Dr. Juma Eusebius Mukhwana. The workshop is expected to last for one hour maximum and begins at 9.30am. At the end of the presentation, the Deputy Director Planning Outreach, Research and Policy will administer a question and answer session where stakeholders/participants
will be expected to raise questions arising from the presentation.

TARGET AUDIENCE
The workshop will be officially opened by the PS state department of Vocational and Technical Training, Dr. Julius Juan, and will be attended by senior government officials from the ministry of education including

(a) PS State department of Early Learning and Basic education, Dr. Richard Belio Kipsang,
(b) PS State department of University and Research Amb. Nabukwesi,
(c) PS State department of Post Training and skills development Mr. Alfred Cheruiyot

Other Key stakeholders who are participating in the workshop will be drawn from the
following:

(a) Qualifications Awarding Institutions;
(b) Training providers and assessment centers;
(c) Private sector/industry;
(d) Kenya Federation of Employers;
(e) Regulatory bodies;
(f) Professional bodies;
(g) Curriculum development bodies;
(h) KUCCPS
