With a keen interest in curriculum development and educational policies, Dr. Wekesa has been actively involved in the development of Competency Based Curricula; Recognition of Prior Learning Policy framework; Quality assurance policy for national qualifications; credit accumulation and transfer system; accreditation and registration policy leading to a national qualification; monitoring and evaluation policy on implementation of the National Qualifications framework among others.
