The sector holds the key for the industrialization of the continent. The Government of Kenya is putting great emphasis on implementation of competence based education and training in the TVET sector in Kenya. KNQA being an overall regulator in the is playing its role is defining qualifications and setting standards for education and training in the country. Today the deputy president HE Dr. William Ruto chaired a stakeholder meeting on how to reform and fund the sector in Kenya.
The TVET sector is growing in importance in Africa.
