Today the Authority is at Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County with the KNQA Mashinani initiative engaging stakeholders in a consultative workshop with national Polytechnic.
The workshop is discussing about the quality of Qualifications awarded by National Polytechnics in Kenya and implementation of Recognition of Prior Learning.The Workshop was attended by the DG KNQA, Principal of Sigalagala National Polytechnic Dr Evans Bosire, Registrars, ICT officers, Quality Assuarance Officers and officers from the KNQA. It was officially opened by the Regional Director for TVET Mr Geoffrey Mutulili.
Addressing stakeholders Dr. Juma Mukhwana CEO KNQA noted that the Authority is part of the global space and that the Framework is a tool to tap into that transforms education and training. He highlighted that the Qualifications Framework will create mutual trust for Qualifications that serves Kenya and opens new horizon to relevancy hence providing solutions. #KNQA Mashinani
