The Conference aims at enhancing the capacity of universities and TVET Institutions as drivers of innovation and change in Africa. Over 120 universities and TVET Institutions took part in the event. The purpose of the workshop is to sensitize & offer Technical support to KMTC,the largest supplier of health proffesionals in Kenya to apply for Accreditation as a QAI and also Accreditation of her qualifications. The meeting is discussing how to ensure the CBC remains accessible, relevant and of high quality in different counties especially in Northern, Kenya. This week the KNQA is working with the Kenya Association of Jua Kali to roll out implementation of RPL at the County levels. The meeting is being attended by the DG KNQA Dr Juma Mukhwana, Chair of Jua Kali Richard Muteti and representatives from ILO, NITA and TVET CDACC. Tobias Wakoli from KNQA took for the 2nd day members from National Council of Persons with Disability (NCPWD) led by Denis Moturi in different KNQA Departments for the purposes of usability and accessibility audit. They further noted and commended the KNQA Website for having the best PWD Accessibility tools among the organizations visited, including their NCPWD Website.
